HOW LAURA CAN HELP

a brief summary of the services provided by laura morgan
"Laura has made such a difference
in my life. She took a complicated
situation, brought clarity to it and
found solutions. Because of her, my
quality of life is greatly improved."
A.M., Downey, CA

Laura identifies issues and recommends solutions that address the "whole" person – from a social, medical, behavioral, and financial perspective.

She also specializes in cases involving what she calls the Big D: Denial. People with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease, for example, may deny their condition and insist on living "life as usual". Family members might also deny that an aging parent is declining. Laura has the patience, knowledge and compassion to help people work through their fears and get the care they need.

Finding the right solutions for a client may involve:

  • Offering advice and support as a one-time consultation or
    on an ongoing basis.
  • Conducting assessments and developing care management
    plans.
  • Advocating on a client’s behalf.
  • Screening and monitoring in-home or out-of-home elderly
    care services.
  • Reporting to the authorities any suspected incidents of
    elder-abuse.
  • Providing referrals to other senior-care professionals or agencies.
  • Creating and maintaining client records.
  • Intervening during a crisis.
  • Serving as a liaison to families at a distance and overseeing
    their loved one’s care.

Laura L. Morgan & Associates is paid only by clients, not by any third party to which clients may be referred. Charges are billed at $95 per hour, and the first 1/2 hour of consultation is free. For your convenience, we also accept credit cards.
